The Alexander Pope Hotel Twickenham

Great location by the river, easy access to Richmond Park and surrounding areas. Comfortable bed and pillows provided a restful sleep. Tastefully decorated rooms with a literary theme and a lovely view. Attentive staff who provided excellent service. Delicious breakfast with a wide selection of options. Enjoyed the little luxuries in the room like a coffee machine and fancy toiletries.

Some rooms experienced wear and tear, with peeling paint on bathroom doors and stained walls. Insufficient lighting in the room.

The Alexander Pope Hotel in Twickenham was awesome. The room was even nicer than the online photos, spacious and modern. The staff were friendly and cute, and the receptionist made us feel at home. The amenities were great, including a large TV and a well-stocked minibar. The breakfast served in the glass-covered area was delicious, with a great variety of options and a beautiful view of the park and Thames.

Nice quiet view of trees, enjoyed sitting by window with coffee, watching birds. Complimentary coffee/tea in room. Convenient bus stop in front. Comfortable armchair, selection of teas, excellent shower. Prompt professional problem resolution.

We chose this hotel for its fantastic location opposite the river, providing a beautiful view during our stay. The room was clean and met our expectations, with a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was well-maintained and provided all the necessary amenities. The staff provided friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. Additionally, the complimentary on-site parking was a great convenience.

We experienced some noise disturbances from patrons in the bar, which affected our sleep quality at times.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my visit to the area. It was in a nice setting and had a good pub menu. We had a family get together lunch in the lovely conservatory with plenty of space for everyone. The staff were friendly and cute, making our experience enjoyable. The portions were generous, especially the fish and chips, and the burger and fries. There was also a good choice of beers available.

Located close to Twickenham stadium and the riverside, this hotel is in a fantastic location. The beautiful park in front of the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, and the bus stop conveniently located right next to the hotel allows for easy transportation. The rooms are modern and stylish, with comfortable beds and nice decorations. The staff provides excellent service, and the complimentary hot breakfast is a great addition. the hotel offers facilities such as an outdoor Burger Shack and table tennis.

The taps in the bathroom and the shower could have been warmer.

Close proximity to Alexander Pope's villa, 18th century mansions, and easily accessible to central London and Heathrow airport.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was perfect, with fresh decor and a very clean room. The hotel facilities were great, with a lovely bar and garden area. The location was perfect, being close to the river and just a short walk from Twickenham village. I also appreciated the fact that there was free parking available. The staff were attentive, making me feel very welcome. The breakfast was great, and I loved the fact that it was available until 11am, allowing me to have a lie-in. this hotel provided an really good experience.

The breakfast choices were excellent, and the waitstaff were efficient and friendly. The location was convenient, close to shops, the river, and a park. We enjoyed easy access to attractions like Strawberry Hill House and the old town center. The bus stop right outside was a bonus for exploring other areas. The rooms had amazing river views, comfortable beds with crisp linens, and the full English breakfast was the best I've had in a long time. The hotel had a boutique style and secure underground parking. Wish we could have stayed longer!
